I work as a Value (Solution) Engineer in a tech company and need to build, demo and/or present solutions to clients, and switch back and forth between the software and slides. I use a multi-monitor setup to separate presenting from conferencing info, notes, email, and team messaging. I recently started using the Elgato Stream Deck to make my meetings more fluid and stop scrambling with mouse and keyboard to trigger actions and switch apps. It's working a lot better now. And the MuteDeck is an essential part of making it work seamlessly with conferencing software - it enables single-tap actions in the device to automatically pull the conferencing mtg to the front, toggle mute and video, toggle chat, toggle participant views, toggle screenshare, and several other standard or custom actions. All the while automatically detecting whether I'm using Zoom/Teams/Google Meet and pushing the right keyboard shortcut actions to the right app.
